YEREVAN. – Scientists from Armenia and Belarus are developing synthetic marble. The project is jointly carried out with the Belarus Institute of New Chemical Substances. 

Director Levon Tavadyan of the Armenian Institute of Chemical Physics told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Tavadyan also informed that even though that they already have achieved a sample of the artificial stone, the project still needs improvement and, also, in line with the wishes of their clients from Saudi Arabia. 

“Everything seems clear, but there is a lot of work for chemists and material specialists,” Levon Tavadyan added.     

On his part, Director Vladimir Agabekov of the Belarus Institute of New Chemical Substances noted that metallic and non-metallic inorganic materials are among the respective supplements.
