YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan breached the truce with Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic over 1,030 times in October 2013. 

During this time, the adversary fired more than 10,300 shots in the direction of Armenian positions and settlements, and through variety of weapons, informs the Armenian MOD data.

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces made use of large-caliber weapons, more than 300 times; sniper weaponry, over 400 times; and large-caliber sniper weaponry, more than 50 times.

To note, in recent years Azerbaijan has increased its ceasefire violations in the direction of Armenia’s Tavush Regions. In line with available data, Azerbaijan’s use of large-caliber weaponry in this direction likewise has gone up.
