YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Seismic Protection Service released information.
According to the information, the Service seismological network recorded a magnitude-3.8 earthquake Sunday at 1:21am, local time.
The epicenter of the tremor was nearby the Iran-Turkey border, 36 km south of Khoy, Iran.
The quake measured magnitude 5 at the epicenter, and its hypocenter was 10 kilometers beneath the surface.
