The opening ceremony of “Armenian center of Hong Kong, Jack and Julia Maksian” took place in Hong Kong.

The event brought together around 100 guests from different states, including Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

In his address to the participants, Armenia’s Ambassador to China Armen Sargsyan underscored importance of such centers to unite Armenians who are far from their Motherland.

The first meeting of the Armenian community of China was held in the center the next day.
