YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Boris Eifman.

Sargsyan welcomed the forthcoming capital city Yerevan performances of the Saint Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre of Boris Eifman, and expressed confidence that the performances will be a huge success.

The premier expressed the hope that Eifman’s visit to Armenia will also contribute to the development of ballet in Armenia and the implementation of new joint projects. 

For his part, Boris Eifman noted that Armenia had and still has great ballet artists who uphold the country’s honor in the entire world. He also expressed the hope that they will be able to stage new performances together with their Armenian colleagues.
