DILIJAN. – Those persons, who were injured as a result of the major traffic accident near Armenia’s Dilijan city, have been identified 

As a result of the accident, eight Georgian citizens sustained injuries and were transported to Dilijan Medical Center, the Police Dilijan Department informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. But none of their injuries is life-threatening. 

The police informed that a truck, driven by Georgian citizen Tehmuraz Kharshiladze, 36, rolled over and fell on a Mercedes Vito driven by Georgian citizen Vazha Ostatishvili, 47, and which was coming from the opposite direction.

As a result, Ostatishvili and his passengers—Georgian citizens Nino Gogokhiye, Giorgi Kupatadze, 34; Manana Gabashvili, 62; Elena Rosetsko, 42; Yekaterina Mindzhoraya, 48; Arshil Todua, 26; and Bek Badzhelidze, 35—were transferred to Dilijan Medical Center.

The injured work in a variety of organizations, and among them are a deputy dean, an editor, a director, and a coordinator.   

To note, the aforesaid truck had rolled over on November 16 at around 4։30pm, at the bends nearby Dilijan city. As a result, the road was blocked. The Road Police tried to regulate traffic. The drivers of the vehicles, which were stuck on the road, likewise helped the rescue workers.
