As per the Azerbaijani MFA, this time Plácido Domingo Jr. has gone to Nagorno-Karabakh “without being issued a [respective] permit [from Azerbaijan].”

Commenting on this visit, Azerbaijani MFA spokesperson Elman Abdullaev stated: “The [Azerbaijani] Foreign Ministry once again confirms Azerbaijan’s principled stance that any unsanctioned visit to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan is unlawful, and this matter is investigated.”  

To note, Plácido Domingo Jr., son of world-renowned tenor Plácido Domingo, paid a visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) these days for a concert. And in response to a query as to whether or not he is afraid to be included on the Azerbaijani “black list” for visiting the NKR, the musician had joked saying that if he had a cigarette and a cup of coffee, he would be willing to even spend the night in Azerbaijan.
