YEREVAN. – Social networks have dramatically changed the communication format in modern Armenian society, representative of EU delegation said.
People became closer and active in terms of communication, head of Operation Division of EU delegation Mr. Hoa-Binh Adjemian at Yerevan international conference devoted to social networks.
He said previously journalist’s role in tradition media was informing people of world developments. Nowadays, thanks to social networks, people have become active players in the field of information, Adjemian said.
The EU delegation’s representative is convinced that new media forced people to expand their awareness, to exchange information, and this leads to tangible changes.
