Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu stated that Armenia’s invitation to Turkey to attend the Yerevan meeting of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) countries is an ordinary process, Beyazgundem website of Turkey reports.

“The Cooperation meetings are held in the chairing country. All member countries are invited to that meeting. It is imperative that we do not focus on this as a special case.

“Our wish is that relations between Turkey and Armenia are normalized, problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia are solved, and a lasting peace is established in the South Caucasus. We will take whatever steps needed for that,” Davutoglu said, in particular.

The Turkish FM added that they will discuss Armenia’s BSEC meeting invitation and share their respective decision with the public.
