YEREVAN. – There was a rape attempt on November 19 aboard a flight from Moscow to Yerevan.

On that day at 5:30pm, a call was received from an aviation security point at Zvartnots International Airport of Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, notifying of a disorderly passenger aboard a plane conducting the Moscow-Yerevan flight, informs the Armenian Police press service.

As a result, the law enforcement officers detained Yeraskh village resident Valerik Dallakyan, 28.

Dallakyan wanted to disrupt public order aboard the plane, he tried to smoke in the toilet, and he was disrespectful toward the cabin crew.

In addition, it was found out that Dallakyan had followed a female passenger aboard the same flight and, to satisfy his sexual desires, he inappropriately had touched and shoved the girl while entering the toilet. He had made such an attempt also toward a female flight attendant.
