Turkish edition of the authoritative Deutsche Welle referred to trade turnover growth between Armenia and Turkey, noting this is a good signal for normalization of relations between the states.

The article presents Turkish statistics on trade turnover, according to which goods amounting to $218 million were exported from Turkey to Armenia. In 2012 the volume of export reached $241 million. It is mentioned that the pace of exports continues in 2013.  

In an interview with Deutsche Welle Turkish edition, co-chairman of the Turkish-Armenian Business Council Kaan Soyak said the official data suggests trade turnover between two countries reached $300 million last year.
