YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Criminal Court of Appeal on Monday rejected the complaint filed by ex-presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakyan.

Alexander Sirunyan, Sedrakyan’s legal defender, appealed court ruling, with respect to sentencing Sedrakyan to fourteen years in prison

Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, Sirunyan said they would appeal to the Couth of Cassation within a month. The Criminal Court of Appeal will provide explanations of the decision in three days.

On September 23, Armenian capital city Yerevan’s Kentron and Nork-Marash General Jurisdiction Court sentenced ex-presidential candidate and epic poetry specialist Vardan Sedrakyan to fourteen years in prison.
