BAGRATASHEN. – There are no Armenians among those affected as a result of the shots fired in Georgia, near the Armenian-Georgian border.

Bagratashen Precinct of Armenia’s Tavush Regional Police Department informed the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am

They informed that the shooting claimed two lives and injured several others, but there are no Armenians among them. The injured are taken to Georgian hospitals, and the Georgian law enforcement is working on the case.      

“We have no information; it has nothing to do with us. The incident occurred in Georgia, in Sadakhlo village; solely shots were heard at the Bagratashen [border] checkpoint [of Armenia],” the police informed.    

To note, the aforementioned shots were fired on Monday night in Georgia, near the Armenian-Georgian border. The Armenian News-NEWS.am’s sources had informed that the shots were exchanged between Georgian citizen criminal authorities. The incident had resulted in two deaths.
