Lithuanian foreign minister Linas Linkevicius condemned break up of peaceful demonstrators in the center of Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine.

“Condemn beating of peaceful protesters in #Kyiv #Maidan Nezalezhnosti. Use of brutal force is unacceptabl,” he tweeted.

Foreign Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt called “deeply worrying” repression against pro-EU manifestations in Kiev.

Police moved in on the hundreds of peaceful demonstrators on Independence Square on the morning of November 30. The videos show police were beating people, the reports suggest several people were  wounded.
