YEREVAN. – Lieutenant Governor Jeff Colyer of the US State of Kansas, and Adjutant General of Kansas, Kansas National Guard Military Commander, Major General Lee Tafanelli will pay a visit to Armenia from Monday to Saturday.

They will participate in several events devoted to the 10th anniversary of the partnership between Armenia and the State of Kansas, and the 25th anniversary of the devastating  earthquake that struck Armenia, informs the US Embassy in Armenia.

In addition, Colyer will attend and deliver a presentation at the international conference organized by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

For his part, Major General Tafanelli will be hosted at the Ministry of Defense. He is expected to meet with Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov.
