GYUMRI. – The Eurasian integration of Armenia can help surmount the obstacle of raw material prices.

Deputy Economy Minister Karine Minasyan stated the aforesaid at the Third Armenian-Russian Interregional Forum, which convened Monday in the City of Gyumri.

In Minasyan’s words, the Single Customs Union stands out by the mechanism of an equal vote in decision-making and the need to reach a common agreement.

Among Armenia’s interests, she pointed to the broad market for the sale of products, business investment protection, and overcoming the economic risks—including the raw material prices.

Armenia looks toward quickly joining the [Russian-led] Customs Union and resolving these matters, so it would not find itself in a regulatory vacuum,” Karine Minasyan added.
