Transparency International NGO on Tuesday issued its 2013 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI).

In line with this year’s CPI, Armenia is among the list of less corrupt CIS member countries.

Armenia is now ranked 94th, against last year’s 105th spot.      

As per Transparency International, Moldova (102nd) and Belarus (123rd) are other less corrupt CIS member countries. 

Russia, on the other hand, maintained its previous position at 127th.

Armenia’s neighbors Georgia, Turkey and Iran are ranked 51st, 53rd and 144th, respectively, RIA Novosti news agency of Russia reports citing Transparency International.
