YEREVAN. – Armenian-Russian inter-regional exhibition opened on Tuesday in Yerevan Expo center.

Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan and Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov visited the opening ceremony.

In his address to the participants, PM Sargsyan expressed confidence that the exhibition will give a new impetus to further development of economic relations between Armenia and Russia.

“Russia is traditionally our key economic partner. I think this will continue in the future. Our entrepreneurs are linked by longstanding and mutually beneficial cooperation,” he said.

Russian Minister noted they are happy to get acquainted with the achievements of the Armenian counterparts and present enterprises from different regions of Russia.

“I think it is something to see, because our relations are developing dynamically, and businessmen from both sides are coming up with new ideas and suggestions,” Sokolov added.

They walked around the exhibition that presented several dozens of Russian and Armenian companies, including the Armenian companies run with Russian capital. Separate pavilions represented regions of Russia and Armenia, as well as Yerevan and Moscow .
