YEREVAN. – Vladimir Putin’s visit to Armenia was in fact unprecedented in terms that the state visit must start in the capital city while he arrived in another city, head of Heritage faction Zaruhi Postanjyan told a briefing in parliament.

The opposition representative noted that Putin came to check the condition of his country’s property in Armenia.

“His trip cannot be considered a state visit,” Postanjyan said.

Russian leader visited Armenia earlier this month. A number of bilateral agreements were signed as a result of talks with President Serzh Sargsyan.
