YEREVAN. – Iranian FM Mohammad Zarif will visit Armenia in the near future, Ambassador Mohammad Reisi told reporters.

“During his visit, the Minister is expected to discuss wide range of issues. He will meet with media representatives and you can ask him the questions you are interested in,” the diplomat said.

Asked whether it is possible to ask Iranian FM about gas price, although the Ambassador was asked around 6-7 times, Reisi replied by smiling.

Earlier the Iranian Ambassador gave to understand that his country would have sold gas cheaper than Russia. Following this, Armenian Energy Minister said Iran would sell gas at least for $400 per 1,000 cubic meters on the border in contrast to $189 by Russia.

During the Friday briefing Reisi added that Iran can use non-market approaches towards the friendly states.
