YEREVAN. – Opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan has initiated a new union called “Civic accord”.

Pashinyan is not yet a candidate to head the union that has been established on his own initiative, he told reporters on Monday.

“The political union should participate in parliamentary and presidential elections,” he added.

Thus, one of the leaders of the 2008 rallies finally distanced himself from the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan and the Armenian National Congress headed by Ter-Petrosyan.
