YEREVAN. – There is nothing extraordinary about Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu’s Armenia visit; it has no connection with Armenia-Turkey relations.

Opposition Armenian National Movement (ANM) Board Chairman Ararat Zurabyan told the aforesaid at a press conference on Tuesday.

“Therefore life will continue regardless of whether or not he will come,” Zurabyan added.

The ANC official also noted that Azerbaijan is wrong on this matter because this is an opportunity for diplomatic contacts.

As for Armenian deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan’s statement that Davutoglu should visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, Zurabyan said: “Those who are not in power can make such similar statements; this statement is inappropriate.”

The opposition member also noted that the Armenian state officials must accept the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs’ statement as basis and move forward.

“We must preserve our national dignity and the life and customs of our country, alike” Ararat Zurabyan maintained.

To note, Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu has announced that he will participate in the meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, which will be convened on Thursday in Armenian capital city Yerevan.
