YEREVAN. – Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoğlu’s forthcoming visit to Armenia is a result of the policy of Turkey.

Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Lernik Aleksanyan noted the aforesaid at a press conference on Wednesday.

In Aleksanyan’s words, something has changed following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent visit to Armenia.

“Changing relationships have started among our four neighbors. Davutoğlu is a pretty good diplomat for his country.

“Our [i.e., the Armenian] position is very important at this phase. The issue is that the matter in connection with the 100th anniversary of the [Armenian] Genocide is at the focus of the world today,” the RPA MP said.

Aleksanyan added that, at this phase, the Armenian side must be able to present the Karabakh and the genocide issues correctly so that the world may give a consistent response.

He noted that the Turkish policy also contains an imitation, which is diplomacy, but the Armenian side needs to conduct the right policy.

“We have a very good diplomacy,” Lernik Aleksanyan stated.
