YEREVAN. – Members from the youth and the student unions of opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party gathered in front of Armenia Marriott Hotel in capital city Yerevan, on Thursday morning.

They gathered to voice their protest against Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoğlu, who is in Yerevan to participate in Thursday’s meeting of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

The youth are demanding Turkey to recognize and to restitute for the Armenian Genocide.

A large number of police officers likewise are gathered in front of the hotel.

“This is not a political matter; this is a national issue. Don’t stop us! We will approach him [i.e., Davutoğlu] and say our piece,” the protestors told the police.

Members from the youth and student union of the Social-Democratic Hnchakyan Party (SDHP) are in front of the hotel, too.

They demand that Davutoğlu, “Leave our homeland forthwith!”

“Let him return to his Ankara and not pollute our air. Davutoğlu is considered an ideologist of the anti-Armenian movement and he is the FM of the country that denies the Genocide,” the SDHP youth stated.
