YEREVAN. – Armenian National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan, who is in Moscow on a working visit, held several talks.

During Baghdasaryan’s meeting with Russian Federation Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, the parties discussed the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership and its prospects in security, and the need to deepen cooperation between the security councils of both countries, informs the Armenian NSC press office. 

During the Armenian NSC secretary’s talk with Belarusian Security Council State Secretary Alexander Mezhuev, the interlocutors stressed the role of the two countries’ security councils in the strengthening of Armenian-Belarusian relations, and the need to explore new domains of cooperation.    

Arthur Baghdasaryan also invited his Belarusian counterpart to an official visit to Armenia, and Mezhuev gladly accepted the invitation 

In addition, the Armenian NSC secretary met with First Deputy Secretary Alexander Medvedenko of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Council. They discussed the starting of cooperation between the relevant agencies of Armenia and Ukraine as well as security and defense issues.
