YEREVAN. - During the 2013, the settlement of Karabakh conflict had made no progress, Artsvik Minasyan, Armenian Dashnaktsutyun Party MP, said in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter.

“The only change that could have happened was related to the processes of the European Association, however, after the announcement on September 3 that Armenia will join the Customs Union, no change took place. At the same time, it is obvious that Azerbaijan is not going to terminate its militaristic policy,” the MP said.

According to him, Azerbaijan will not give up its war rhetoric and will take the necessary steps to use all the loopholes in the international organizations in order to make pressure on Karabakh and Armenia.

“The incidents on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces during the past year provide enough evidence for that. This means that Armenia should make all efforts for international recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. In addition, it is necessary to conclude a military alliance with Karabakh in order to ensure its security in the framework of international legal agreements,” Minasyan said.

He stressed that the Nagorno Karabakh Republic should join the negotiation process on conflict resolution.
