YEREVAN. – Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoglu needs to be kept under the beam.

Opposition Armenian National Congress National Assembly (ANC NA) Faction member Lyudmila Sargsyan noted the above-said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Sargsyan commented on Davutoglu’s recent visit to Armenia along the lines of the meeting of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

In her words, the visit should have been viewed within the framework of the BSEC.

“It is no accident that rumors are circulating on handing two Artsakh [i.e., Nagorno-Karabakh] regions to Azerbaijan.

“Turkey understands that it will open the Armenian-Turkish border solely in this case.

“For us, however, one option is acceptable, which is the preservation of the territorial integrity [of Karabakh],” the ANC NA member said.

As per Lyudmila Sargsyan, Armenia must see to it that Turkey remain neutral in the region and not dictate terms with respect to the opening of the boundaries.
