YEREVAN. – Armenia will hold detailed talks on gas price with Iran in 1-2 months, Energy Minister Movsisyan said.

“I have already met with Iranian Ambassador who had returned from Tehran. We agreed to discuss the issue at the meeting of Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission in January or February 2014,” he told reporters on Tuesday.

Earlier this month Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Reisi said nothing prevents his country from selling gas to friendly states and other countries at different rates.

“Theoretically, nothing prevents Iran to sell gas at $400 to common states and at $100 to friendly countries,” Reisi said.
