STEPANAKERT. – The OSCE Mission conducted a regular monitoring at the boundary between Armenia and Azerbaijan on Wednesday.

The monitoring was held in the direction of Kayanavan village of Armenia’s Tavush Region and Bala Cafarli village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh District. The monitoring passed without incidents.

From the Armenian side of the border, the monitoring was conducted by Irji Aberle, Evgeny Sharov and Peter Svedberg, field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

From the Azerbaijani side of the boundary, the monitoring was held by Hristo Hristov and William Pryor, field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

The monitoring was preceded by a meeting with governor of Tavush Region Armen Gularyan. Among the issues discussed was periodical fire of the Azerbaijani side in the direction of the road near Parvaqar village.
