YEREVAN. – Nagorno-Karabakh is a subscriber, too, and the situation will not change once the remaining 20 percent of the shares of ArmRusGazprom Company of Armenia are sold to Russia.

Energy and Natural Resources Minister of Armenia, Armen Movsisyan, noted the aforesaid at Friday’s National Assembly (NA) special session, during which the Armenian-Russian natural gas supply agreements are discussed.

Movsisyan responded to opposition Free Democrats Party Chairman, NA member Khachatur Kokobelyan’s question as to how the gas will be supplied to Nagorno-Karabakh.

The minister noted that even though the agreements say nothing on this matter, it will not be an obstacle for supplying gas.

In turn, opposition Armenian National Congress bloc NA Faction Secretary Aram Manukyan asked who had decided that the 20 percent of the above-said shares cost exactly $155 million.

Armen Movsisyan responded that the experts have done calculations, held discussions, and come to this conclusion.
