Three-dimensional (3D) jewelry have started to be designed at Gyumri Technopark of Armenia.
Director Khachatur Demirchyan of Premier Design Company, which operates at the technopark, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that Gyumri Technopark assisted the company by buying its shares, which the company will gradually buy back.
“We design jewelry and manufacture them ourselves. Armenia’s jewelry market is not big; [and] the existing one is fully concentrated in [capital city] Yerevan. It barely survives in Gyumri,” Demirchyan noted.
He added that the company exerted many efforts to find jewelry professionals.
“Numerous skilled professionals have come [to Armenia] from Syria. But is not easy to take them to work outside the boundaries of Yerevan; the expected earnings are small [outside Yerevan],” Khachatur Demirchyan stated.
