YEREVAN. – There will be hardly any movement in Karabakh talks next year, says Russian political analyst Mikhail Alexandrov.

There may be some improvement in the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh problem, in terms of reducing tension, mutual cessation of fire on the border, especially from the Azerbaijani side, reducing militarist rhetoric of Azerbaijan, Alexandrov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The new year may bring more frequent meetings between representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan for discussion of issues on Karabakhm” he added.

Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan met on November 19 after a two-year break. The parties agreed to give an impetus to peace talks.
