Preparation for the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will become a priority for the Union of Armenians of Ukraine in 2014.

Chairman of the Union, Ukrainian parliament MP Vilen Shatvoryan said monuments to the Armenian Genocide victims will be installed in the territories of Armenian churches.

A number of events covering the First World War are planned. The Union plans to establish cooperation with an American film studio to shoot a movie about the Armenian Genocide, AnalitikaUA.net reported.

A final conference of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine took place in Kyiv on December 25.
