Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s sent a congratulatory message to President Serzh Sargsyan of Armenia, on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays.

“The return to the teachings of the prophets, the deepening of the commonalities between peoples and cultures, and the reliance on lofty objectives create grounds for the strengthening of friendship and unanimity among nations.     

“I hope that in the new year we will witness joint efforts, unanimity, establishment of peace and security in the world, and the strengthening of friendship among countries. 

“I ask God for good health and success to Your Excellency, and happiness and glory to the people of Armenia,” the Iranian President’s message specifically runs.
