YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Economy Minister considers successful agreement on gas price reached between Armenia and Russia.

Talking to reporters on Thursday, Minister Vahram Avanesyan called successful agreement on $189 for 1000 cubic meters of gas for the next five years.   

Among other achievements he mentioned the roadmap on Armenia’s joining Customs Union that was adopted on December 24 during the meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and prolonging of GSP+ trade regime with the EU.

Among omissions, Avanesyan mentioned insufficient investment activity and a shortage to target economic growth of 7% in 2013.

“However, Armenia’s economic growth will be one of the highest in the region,” he added.
