YEREVAN. – Production of first Armenian-made tablet computer (Armtab) and mobile phone (Armphone) is an important achievement, Tigran Sargsyan said summing up the results of the passing year.

Asked about the implementation of “property in exchange for a debt” program with Russia, Prime Minister brought an example of the Mergelyan Institute of Mathematical Machines and Mars factory.

Tigran Sargsyan noted that together with Russian colleagues it was decided to set up a free trade area based on these enterprises.

The second important achievement is that the Armenian government approved the program that involves the production of Armenian phones and tablets in order to meet the needs of domestic consumers.
