YEREVAN. – Armenia’s consul in Volgograd visited two Armenian women injured in a deadly bombing at a railroad station.

“Consul Gagik Shahamiryan visited the girls and on behalf of the embassy voiced readiness to provide possible assistance,” spokesperson for Armenian embassy in Russia Eduard Jambazyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Susanna Grigoryan is in the intensive care unit. The doctors say Nina Harutyunyan is in average critical condition.

The blast occurred at 12:45pm, Moscow time. According to data, an undetected explosive device, presumably by a female suicide bomber, was used. Nina Harutyunyan (born in 1981) and Susanna Grigoryan (born in 1978) are among the injured.
