YEREVAN. – On New Year 2014, the Crisis Management Center of Armenia recorded 15 road accidents in the country, and these accidents claimed 6 lives and injured 28 others.
On New Year 2013, the Center had recorded 32 road accidents, which had claimed 9 lives and injured 50 others
The Crisis Management Center compared the statistics on the incidents that were recorded in Armenia on New Year 2013 and 2014.
On New Year 2014, a total of 96 fires were registered, but there were no victims, against 84 fires on New Year 2013, which claimed 3 lives and injured one person.
On New Year 2014, a total of 12 cases of poisoning were recorded, with 21 people affected, against 9 poisonings on New Year 2013, with 14 persons affected.
On New Year 2014, the rescue workers found 6 dead bodies, against 9 dead bodies on New Year 2013.
