The parents of newborn girl named ‘Olympiada’ appeared to be the relatives of famous Armenian actor Mhet (Frunzik) Mkrtchyan.

Alexander Mkrtchyan, a 29-year old film producer from Sochi, and his wife Serafima decided to name their daughter Olympiada to mark the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

Olympiada has 7-year-old brother and 4-year-old sister.

“We dream that our Olympia could be a famous athlete and an Olympic champion, of course,” her parents told Komsomolskaya Pravda.

Newborn girl is a great-granddaughter of Armenian actor Frunzik Mkrtchyan, as her father Alexander is his grand-nephew.
