YEREVAN. – Health Minister Derenik Dumanyan received Indian Ambassador to Armenia, Suresh Babu, and they discussed matters of mutual interest within Armenian-Indian cooperation in the health sector.

Dumanyan considered the expanding of cooperation in pharmaceutical manufacturing and in pharmacology to be a priority, the Health Ministry press service informs.   

The minister also underscored the large pharmaceutical exhibition, which will be held in April in Mumbai, India, and added that the Armenian pharmaceutical companies likewise will attend this event.  

For his part, the Indian ambassador congratulated the Armenian company that received the Good Manufacturing Practices (GPM) certificate. He noted that the issuance of the GPM certificate in Armenia is an important guarantee for active cooperation in the international market.
