YEREVAN. – Armenian Economy Minister Vahram Avanesyan on Tuesday received Georgian Ambassador Tengiz Sharmanashvili to discuss further cooperation between the states in the context of Armenia’s membership to Customs Union.

The sides discussed a number of issues related to Armenia-Georgia economic ties. Minister Avanesyan and Ambassador underscored importance of the regular meeting of inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation, as well as upcoming first meeting of Armenia-Georgia joint working group on trade and economic affairs.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Economy Minister Garegin Melkonyan.
