YEREVAN. – Armenian government on Thursday approved the sale of ArmRusgasprom shares to Gazprom, thus increasing the shares of Russian company to 100%.
The relevant intergovernmental agreement was signed in Yerevan on December 2 during the visit of Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Gazprom owned 80% of ArmRusGasprom shares, while the rest twenty belonged to the Armenian government. As a result of Putin’s visit, an agreement was reached to transfer 20% to Gazprom.
