The first showing of the documentary film, entitled “Azerbaijan Seeking Ethnonym,” was held on December 25, 2013, in Stepanakert, capital city of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

In this short period of time, the film was viewed about 50,000 times on YouTube. 

The Azerbaijani residents’ continuing search for an ethnonym has already resulted in tectonic shifts in the consciousness of the citizens of Azerbaijan. 

In fact, the residents of capital city Baku, or of Ismaily, today do not know to which nation they belong.  

The prediction of Baba Vanga—the blind Bulgarian mystic and clairvoyant—about the collapse of Azerbaijan is also mentioned in the documentary. In 1993, she had said that Azerbaijan had solely thirty more years of existence.
