YEREVAN. – Georgian president Giorgi Margvelashvili plans to visit Armenia, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian told reporters.

His answer came in response to a remark about alleged escalation of relations with Georgia and Iran.

He said in 2013 Armenia continued to develop close relations with Georgia and Iran despite presidential elections that took place in three states. He recalled that Georgian PM paid his first visit to Armenia and it was very effective.

Besides, the proof of deepening ties between Armenia and Georgia is a meeting of speakers, meetings at the ministerial level and within international agencies.

Speaking about deepening relations with Iran, Minister Nalbandian mentioned the meeting of inter-governmental commission in Tehran. Thus, the allegations on deterioration of relations are untrue.
