YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan, who is in Georgia on an official visit, was received by Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili. 

First, Ashotyan conveyed Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s greetings and best wishes to Margvelashvili, informs the Armenian Education and Science Ministry press service.

At the ensuing talk, the interlocutors reflected on the friendship between the Armenians and the Georgians. They stressed that education is an important platform which enables to preserve and pass on national values and traditions and be recognizable by history, and it also creates important and solid foundations for the development and strengthening of friendship between the Armenian and the Georgian peoples.   

The parties expressed confidence that all the problems, which the ministries of the two countries face, can be resolved with joint efforts.
