YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s inter-state and inter-community thoroughfares are primarily passable as of Monday at 9:30am.

But the Voskepar-Noyemberyan, Berd-Chambarak and Sotk-Karvachar motorways, the Dilijan city bends, and Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass are difficult to drive, informs the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

In addition, there is ice on some portions of Yerevan-Sevan Highway, the Spitak city bends, and the “Devil’s Bridge” road section.

The MES advises the drivers to travel along the aforesaid thoroughfares solely when absolutely necessary.

According to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is closed for all vehicles.
