YEREVAN. – Member of Prosperous Armenia Naira Zohrabyan named premier and energy minister “liars” as she addressed the parliament on Tuesday.

Zohrabyan said Armenia should better giver 20% of shares of ArmRusgazprom free of charge not to shoulder any obligations.

“We would save our face and would not sign shameful, vassal agreements to ensure open monopoly for the Russian company,” she said during the debates on gas agreements.

Naira Zohrabyan noted that state officials were lying when saying Armenia has no debts to Russia.

“Energy Minister Armen Movsisyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan lied to the public. And what are these officials supposed to do? In a normal country they would resign. We want an answer to the question how the debt of 300 million dollars was accumulated. Why the agreement was signed to deprive Armenia of an opportunity to seek alternative sources of energy till 2043?” she emphasized.
