YEREVAN. – Relations between the police organizations of Armenia and Italy will acquire a new quality, and the desire and potential of the partnership will be used for much closer cooperation.    

Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan noted the aforementioned Wednesday, at his talk with Italy’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Giovanni Ricciulli.  

Stating that the agreement on cooperation is in force and there are working contacts through the Interpol, Gasparyan underscored need to make the partnership between the two police organizations become direct and tangible, informs the Armenian Police press service.    

For his part, Ambassador Ricciulli assured that everything will be done for a more comprehensive and practical cooperation between the police agencies of Armenia and Italy.    

The interlocutors also discussed several other matters of mutual interest.
