YEREVAN. – It is not difficult for Armenian citizens to get a work permit in Russia, head of the state migration service said.
Gagik Yeganyan explained that the current legislation limiting presence in Russia to 90 days in a row within 180 days refers to those having no contracts or work permits.
“It is very easy to get a work permit. You have to apply to the local department of Federal Migration Service,” Yeganyan said during the debates on migration issues. The quota set for migrant workers is 2-3 million people.
Yeganyan also said work permit can be extended without leaving Russia.
