YEREVAN. – ArmTab Technologies company has already received applications for 1000-1050 Armenian tablets ArmTab, said president of the company and co-owner of the American company Minno Tablets Vahan Shakaryan (photo).

The main orders came from the Diaspora, therefore the tablets have only an Armenian keyboard. However, a tablet will appear in the market with “Vostan” and “Araks” operating systems.

“We cannot name the exact price yet, but it will be quite competitive. The difference from the well-known brands will be approximately 50%, while the features will be the same,” Shakaryan assured.

According to preliminary estimates, production is scheduled to be launched in late May.

“This is not a final decision. This depends on how soon we will be able to settle in a new location – free economic zone in Yerevan,” he told reporters.

The company is not considering competition with Samsung or Apple, it is out of the question.

“It would be a suicide. We will work with targeted clients,” he added.
